Beachy Graduation Party
8th Grade Promotion Luncheon Just days ago my baby girl had her 8th grade promotion ceremony and is now moving on to high school in just a few months! This calls for a celebration! For her luncheon, we decided on a soup bar. I served salmon chowder and French onion soup with crusty bread sticks, croissants, spinach artichoke spread, shrimp and krab. We dine on all things circular: Sliced Cucumber Ritz Crackers Doughnuts Pizza Orange…

Wizard of Oz Birthday
Somewhere Over the Rainbow Ding Dong the Witch is Dead… I love getting creative in every area of my party planning and had so much fun with this theme. A classic movie like the Wizard of Oz is just loaded with iconic decoration ideas. For starters, there’s the Ruby Red Slippers. These shoes are the star of the show and are just the thing to sit on top of the Hostess ding-dongs. At the front entrance I used the sparkly red shoes my daughter wore last Christmas to represent the scene where the house fell on the Wicked Witch and she lost her prized slippers. I love being able to…
