Boho Chic Tea Party
Last weekend I helped put on a mother daughter tea for the National Charity League. How fun is that?! This yearly event gives members a chance to celebrate their year of volunteering in the community as well as honoring the outgoing senior girls. Once we decided on the Boho Chic decor theme I started working on the invitation. After several revisions, this the final design that was sent out. I just love the roses and the peachy colors that make it feel feminine and pretty and the dream catcher sets the tone for the Boho Chic theme. Create an Invitation that will Really Excite Your Guests Everyone loves getting letters in the mail, but these days it’s a rare occurence for sure. What little boy wouldn’t be thrilled to get his own message in a bottle delivered right in his mailbox? Over the years I have done several variations of this invitation from mermaid parties, luau dinners, pirate parties and now a surfing party. Wizard of Oz Birthday
Somewhere Over the Rainbow Ding Dong the Witch is Dead… I love getting creative in every area of my party planning and had so much fun with this theme. A classic movie like the Wizard of Oz is just loaded with iconic decoration ideas. For starters, there’s the Ruby Red Slippers. These shoes are the star of the show and are just the thing to sit on top of the Hostess ding-dongs. At the front entrance I used the sparkly red shoes my daughter wore last Christmas to represent the scene where the house fell on the Wicked Witch and she lost her prized slippers.
