Keto Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Bars
These Keto Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Bars were a hit at Thanksgiving! Most of my family is eating Keto, but even those who don’t follow a ketogenic way of eating thought these were great. I think the trick was the sweetener. Erythritol based sweeteners like Swerve have a cooling effect that my kids can often detect in baked goods. For this recipe I decided to try Monkfruit instead and it went totally undetected! I’m calling that a win! {This article includes affiliate links. DIY Deer Costume
Doe a deer, a female deer… I realize female deer do not have antlers and it’s highly unlikely that a male would have pink sparkly antlers with flowers. However, in my imagination, this is what I would look like if I were a deer. There are lots of deer and fawn makeup tutorials on-line, most of them are pretty similar. Dining Room Hutch
After looking for years for a dining room hutch, I finally found a lightly used hutch on the Facebook Marketplace that fit our needs perfectly! One thing I love about this hutch is the top cabinets on the right and left both extend all the way to the counter. The four small drawers are perfect for storing things like name cards and my custom chalkboard food labels. The glass doors display my collection of cabbage leaf plates and the space directly below gives me a place to decorate seasonally. The…

Fall 2016 Willamette Valley Wine Tour
Touring Oregon’s Wine Country A few weeks ago we spent the afternoon touring four different local Oregon wineries. This was our second tour with Dan at Triangle Wine Country Tours and this tour was even better than the first. Lucky for us it was a beautiful sunny fall day here in Oregon which allowed us to soak in the scenery while sampling wine outside. I’ll be the first to tell you that I’m no where close to being a wine expert. I don’t have all the lingo down, but I am picking up bits here and there. This post does not contain any wine reviews as I’m still a newbie and don’t feel I am…

This recipe was given to me from a friend over 20 years ago and to this day it remains one of our favorite fall cookies!
