A Night at the Heceta Lighthouse Bed and Breakfast

The Heceta Lighthouse Bed and Breakfast is a magical place nestled in the hillside of the Oregon Coast. The keeper’s house was built over 100 years ago. A lighthouse keeper operated the Fresnel Lens from 1894 until the 1930s when electricity became available. As a result, the lighthouse was automated and the keeper was no longer needed. Consequently, the house was sold for the unbelievable price of just $10! Many years later, in 1995, it was converted to a bed and breakfast.A night at Heceta Head Bed and Breakfast on the Oregon CoastHeceta Head Lighthouse

The welcome drink pairs nicely with the breathtaking view of the Pacific Ocean from the front porch. Grab a blanket, cozy up in an adirondack chair and listen to the sound of the waves crashing below. Queen Anne Room at Heceta Lighthouse Bed and Breakfast

The Queen Anne room offers a comfortable four-poster bed with charming antique furniture and a view of the garden below. An old wardrobe houses plush bathrobes to wrap up in after a soak in the claw-foot tub.Two different view of Heceta Head Lighthouse

One of the perks to staying at the Heceta Lighthouse B&B is the proximity to the lighthouse during sunset. Take advantage of the flashlight provided in your room and take an evening walk to see the beams cast across the ocean. You won’t regret it.
