Treat Yourself to Tea in Whistler Village
The Whistler Tea House For some reason, I’m on a big tea kick lately. Probably because I’m trying to cut out dairy. We all know that coffee without creamer, just isn’t coffee…so tea it is. While in Whistler last week I scoped out a few local places have tea. Davids Tea, My Newest Favorite Thing
DAVIDs TEA I love discovering favorite new things. While doing some pre-trip planning for our road trip to Canada, I came across a tea shop called DAVIDs TEA. It was right near the area of Whistler where we were staying and looked amazing from everything I saw on the website. Afternoon Tea at The Georgian in Seattle
On our way to Canada, I arranged for my daughter and I to stop and share a special tea for two in honor of her 16th birthday. Our original plan was to take the ferry over to Victoria and have tea at the Empress Hotel, however due to the recent wildfires in British Columbia, we shortened our trip and the Victoria BC portion got cut. I quickly researched some other locations for us to celebrate and I just knew when I found the afternoon tea held at the Georgian, in the Fairmont Olympic Hotel, it was just what I had in mind for her first formal tea…and it was absolutely…

Boho Chic Tea Party
Last weekend I helped put on a mother daughter tea for the National Charity League. How fun is that?! This yearly event gives members a chance to celebrate their year of volunteering in the community as well as honoring the outgoing senior girls. Once we decided on the Boho Chic decor theme I started working on the invitation. After several revisions, this the final design that was sent out. I just love the roses and the peachy colors that make it feel feminine and pretty and the dream catcher sets the tone for the Boho Chic theme. The inspirational motto was “Collect Moments Not Things.” This is the first year…
