The Moment Just Before Since this was our first trip to the Silos Baking Co, I wanted to go early and avoid the crowds. At 7:30 in the morning the mood was pretty relaxed, likely the calm before the storm. It’s just a matter of time before the line starts forming along the exterior of the building. Upon entering the bakery we were handed order forms to fill out while waiting our turn. This helps streamline the ordering process when the bakery is extra busy. Southern Hospitality at Magnolia Market
When we were first married, Dan and I stayed at a bed and breakfast on the Oregon Coast. The tagline on the brochure read “Hospitality is Our Specialty.” The place was an older Victorian era home turned B & B and from the looks of the brochure it was going to be a lovely place to stay. It turned out to be one of those situations where the camera angles told a much different story because in real life it was a strange, quirky place.
