Sunday Brunch at Flora Farms
One of my favorite things to do on vacation is to eat outdoors. Oregon’s climate is such that dining al fresco is a rare treat, so I look for places that offer outdoor seating whenever possible. I made our reservations a week before our trip to Cabo and got one of the last available spots, so if you are planning to eat at Flora Farms, it’s important to make reservations early. It’s really easy to reserve your table online here.
Nearly all of the ingredients on the menu are sourced from the farm and nearby ranch, including fresh squeezed orange juice, seasonal salads, eggs made to order, ham and the most delicious sausage I can remember.
What We Ordered
As per usual, we decided to order a couple different things and share. I ordered the Sunday Brunch and Dan ordered their fennel sausage and mozzarella pizza which is made to order and cooked on site in a wood-fired pizza oven. Brunch came in several courses and included pastries, fresh seasonal salad, herb scrambled eggs, ham, sausage, farm potatoes and hollandaise sauce. I was tempted to order their signature Bloody Mary drink and after seeing them at other tables I kind of wished I did. However, I just can’t pass up a lavender cocktail. It’s always my first choice no matter what and have zero regrets ordering the fresh lavender martini. The entire meal was delicious!
Just when we thought we were done, our waiter reminded us that the Sunday Brunch comes with a choice of chocolate or carrot cake. We chose carrot and were so glad we did. It was so fresh and flavorful!
We’ve been coming to Cabo for 25 years, but until this trip, Flora Farms wasn’t really on our radar. Now that we’re in the know, we will definitely be returning. Our first experience was so relaxing and wonderful. Flora Farms is an inviting, calm oasis and we felt so special being welcomed to our table with a Congratulations sign as we were in Cabo celebrating our 25th Anniversary! This Sunday brunch at Flora Farms was one of the highlights of our trip!

What I Wore to Flora Farms
Floral Dress | Straw Purse (currently on sale) | Braided Headband | Chandelier Earrings | French Nails | Lashes
The ambiance at Flora Farms is on point. As someone who appreciates attention to detail, I was more than impressed with how everything was set up. From the signage and menus to the fresh flowers and charming farmhouse decor, every little detail was so tasteful and well thought out. The welcoming, relaxed atmosphere reminded me quite a bit of our time at the Silos and Magnolia Table in Waco, TX. Classic and comfortable.
How to Get There
Flora Farms Adddress: Carretera Transpeninsular San José del Cabo Km. 30 Las Ánimas Bajas, 23407 San José del Cabo, B.C.S., Mexico
If you’re traveling by car, you should be able to find Flora Farms using Google Maps, or you can print out this handy map for step-by-step directions. Allow approximately 45 minutes drive time from Cabo San Lucas. As you get closer, you will follow a dirt road for the last stretch before reaching the parking lot. The area is pretty well marked. You will also see signs for Acre (another farm to table establishment in the area). Once you park, the restaurant is just a short walk past the shops.
We spent about 3 hours enjoying our brunch and wandering around the property at Flora Farms. I have no doubt you too will enjoy every minute of your farm-to-table experience!
